2012 Outdoor Soccer Season - REGISTRATION OPEN!

August 10th, 2012 – October 28, 2012 
Bi-weekly practices begin in August.

Games will be played with Opening Day on
September 8th, 2012 and then
seven more games every Sunday beginning
9/16/12 through 10/28/12.

 

$50 per player through 5/31/12

$5 late fee applied after 5/31/12

Policies

Placement Policy:

The club will review special requests; however, they can not be guaranteed.

Barrens Soccer Club Refund Policy:

The club does not refund or transfer registration fees for any program unless the club is unable to place a player on a team.  DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU ARE DEFINATELY GOING TO PLAY.

ALSO, PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Smoking is prohibited on school properties and both the Delta & Stewartstown Recreation facilities. 
  • Dog/pets are not allowed on the school district fields.
  • Absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC beverages are allowed on any of the fields/recreation areas that Barrens holds practices or games.
  • Please note that Barrens Soccer Club does not allow any Travel or School Soccer Team players to register for our recreation program. Please do not register for our program if you are in this situation.

Coach's Clearences

For the children's safety, coaches are required to provide two clearances to the BSC board in order to coach a team.  Links for required forms are indicated below:

Note:  The PA State Police Criminal Background check can be done on line leaving only the PA Child Abuse to complete by mail or you may do both the mail.  It is your choice.

Once clearances are recieved, mail copy to: BSC, PO Box 760, Stew, PA,17363. Or you can put in drop box at HARP Community Building.

From US Youth Soccer

Dr. John Thomas is Assistant Director of Coaching for US Youth Soccer.  He comments that only 18% of all soccer players in the United States are playing “competitive”  ball.  This means that over 80% of all players are playing soccer at the recreational level TO HAVE FUN!  That is what the Barrens Soccer Club is all about and we are proud to have been doing it for 30 years.
